Manitowoc appoints new Grove distributor in Poland

1/30/2018

  • Zeppelin Polska will provide both sales and service support for the Grove brand in Poland.
  • The appointment became official in December 2017.

As of December 2017, Manitowoc has appointed Zeppelin Polska as a distributor of Grove cranes in Poland. Zeppelin Polska, based in Kajetany, is an established distributor that owns six workshops throughout Poland and employs a team of around 15 sales personnel, as well as 53 field technicians.

Jan David is the company’s general manager.

“We are very excited and honored to be representing the Grove brand in Poland,” he said. “We only sell premium products to our customers, and Grove cranes are at the forefront of quality and productivity. We know they will be very popular with our customers.”

Thorsten Bolender, area sales manager for Manitowoc Cranes in Poland, said the new appointment will provide customers in Poland with a seasoned, expert dealer that knows the market well and can help drive solutions for their lifting needs.

“We believe that this new cooperation with Zeppelin Polska will help expand Grove’s presence in the region and enable us to offer a high level of support,” he said. “The highly trained technicians they keep on staff, for example, will provide a superior level of service for Grove cranes in the country.”
